Sissy Nobby - Lay Me Down (A1 Bassline Remix)
2009 was a great year for A1 Bassline, his profile has gone strength to strength with help from extensive coverage in NME and I.D. , alongside the usual dance music press. A1 Bassline has become somewhat of a music personality, even his love of football being point of interest for brands such as Nike. This interest led to A1 Bassline being asked him to host, DJ and provide the music for the advertisement for the NIKE 5 Tournament. On the music front, remixes for Little Boots, Example, Fugitive and Buraka Som Sistema have all kept the airways A1 friendly (check out a couple of the most recent remixes above), a point emphasised by multiple guest mixes and interviews on Radio One for Rob Da Bank, Kissy Sell Out, Annie Nightingale on top of massive support from Andy George and Jaymo and Annie Mac.
In 2010 we’re expecting even more from A1 Bassline, with collaborations with Tek-One, Kavsrave, Shinichi Osawa and Foamo soon to be released and the eagerly awaited 2nd Southern Fried Single. As a Chew The Fat! resident keep an eye out for very special Chew The Fat! Line-ups across the UK, with a special appearance in Bristol 5th Feb, as part of Channel 4’s Skins House Tour Party (As Seen on TV).
