If you’re not familiar with ‘Under the Sun’ and ‘Feel too Good’, two of the biggest remixes of Kidda’s tracks this year then you need to be slapped. These huge anthems of 2009 will be part of a remix compilation called ‘Go Up To Get Down’ out on Skint Records 1st February 2010. All remixes were taken from Kidda’s debut album ‘Going Up’ which received huge praise across the board.

“insanely funky beats, shiny happy melodies and hooks that reel you in like a mackerel”
DJ Magazine Album Of The Month *****

a refreshingly accomplished debut, and most importantly it’s out there"
DMC Update Album Of The Week *****

The original track ‘Under the Sun’ has been the melodic soundtrack to the international Bacardi TV Commercial for the last 6 months.

2009 has seen Kidda support Fake Blood at Stealth and Sugarbeat, play Chew the Fat!, Razzmatazz , Glastonbury and tour Australia on the huge lineup of the Stereosonic Festival. This year has also seen an Annie Mac minimix, a mix for Pete Tong and loads of Radio 1 coverage for the remixes.

We are now taking enquiries for album launch dates in late January, February and March. Skint will provide full regional press support and this will be part of a massive PR run in the lead up to it in press, on radio and online. This launch date would also work well as a support slot for any of the remixers on the album such as Herve, Jack Beats or Jaymo and Andy George.
