Its about time I dropped you a little update with this jackin new mix from our rising star of the agency, Kidda . There are djs and there are artists and this man falls proudly under both categories. Wasting no time after the huge success of his first album ‘Going Up’, Kidda has been busy working on his second artist album set for release first quarter 2010.

And the singles keep dropping from first album ‘ Going Up’ with ‘Strong Together’ having just been released with Heavyfeet, Ko Matsushimi & Kidda (aka Cockblockers) on remix. Sitting comfortably at #6 on the DMC chart , the ‘Strong Together’ remixes have already been thrashed across the blogs and the airwaves with Kissy Sell Out (Radio 1), Ali B (Kiss FM) and Eddy Temple Morris (XFM) all spinning them on their shows.

The license of ‘Under the Sun’ worldwide to the Bacardi TV ad has helped drive Kidda’s exposure and profile with licensing deals on the table for the USA and Japan and with a wide range of Radio Stations running with the orginal tracks off ‘Going Up’, Kidda’s exposure is reaching well beyond just the dance community of Radio 1. Here is just some of the exposure Kidda has seen of late:

On the cards for Kidda leading up to his second album early next year are 2 more singles including ‘Doo Whot’ scheduled for release in November and various shows across the UK, Europe and a tour of Australia in November. Now is the time to lock Kidda into your calendar before he joins Fat Boy Slim, Adam Freeland, Evil 9 and the long line of other successful Brighton djs.
