Hostage, often considered Scotland's more prolific producer of late, is always hard at work in the clubs and in the studio manufacturing tough electro to dubstep
beats that span a wide
spectrum of musical styles with devastating dancefloor accuracy.
Over the last couple of years his raving pilgrimage has taken him all over Europe, US, Asia and Australia bringing a heady mix of rave, electro and house to the bass-hungry masses. 2009 saw a rapid rise into the limelight through much increased BBC Radio 1 support culminating in a live and explosive Radio 1 Essential mix with Annie Mac in January 2010.

DJs from the Crookers to Annie Mac and his big tune of 2009
'I Get High' saw extensive dj and radio attention. Hostage has been
seen at some of the best club nights around including Death Disco, Chew
the Fat!, Stealth and a headline slot at Glade's Overkill stage. With 2
EPs already on Nightshifters as well as a constant barrage of rave ammo
being
distributed for free across the internet, Hostage is a formidable
producer, remixer and DJ showman.
